Design Tools by Thor Solutions is a Chrome extension that helps designers and developers extract, preview, and download visual assets (such as images, fonts, and colors) from web pages. We value your privacy and are committed to ensuring that your data stays entirely on your device.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, or website content.
- We do not use analytics, trackers, or third-party cookies.
- We do not upload any data to external servers or cloud services.
All processing (including image extraction, ZIP generation, and font or color detection) happens locally in your browser.
3. Permissions Explained
The extension requests only the permissions required for its core functionality:
- activeTab — Allows the extension to interact with the tab you explicitly choose when you open the popup.
- scripting — Enables temporary injection of a helper script to read images, colors, and fonts from the page when you click a tool.
- storage — Used only to remember optional preferences (for example, last used tool), stored locally on your device.
- host_permissions (<all_urls>) — Required so the extension can detect and download image files from pages you choose to scan.
These permissions are used only when you interact with the extension.
4. Data Processing
All functionality — image scanning, color picking, font inspection, and ZIP creation — happens entirely in your browser’s memory. No external network communication occurs other than fetching image files directly from the web pages you choose.
5. Third-Party Services
This extension does not use or integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
6. Security
Because all actions happen locally, your data never leaves your computer. Chrome’s built-in sandboxing and permission system further restrict what the extension can access.
